PAgFRUIT PhD researcher Juan Carlos Miranda, member of the Research Group in AgroTICa and Precision Agriculture (GRAP) was selected to participate in the video "Study in Catalonia - Stories of Human Values 2022". This is the international campaign of the Catalan university system starring students and researchers from all over the world, who explain in first person their academic and life experience in Catalonia. Juan Carlos Miranda works is expert in computer vision and his PhD is about combining the use of photonic sensors, computer vision and spatial sampling methods to efficiently estimate fruit load and potential yield in orchards. He is AGAUR FI Grant Holder enrolled in the Agricultural and Food Science an Technology PhD Program of the Universitat de Lleida.
